zFlowers.com helped a record number of people send floral messages of gratitude to Mum’s worldwide, as well as giving away iPad Mini2s to two lucky winners of their Mother’s Day Contest.

Remember Mum campaign

Hong Kong – This year zFlowers.com helped 19.5% more customers worldwide to send fresh flowers and gifts ordered online to their Mother’s, Grandmothers, wives and other significant women, than during the Mother’s Day period last year. These orders went out to 31 countries worldwide and were sent from customers located in 79 countries around the world. Interestingly, orders sent to South East Asia made up 12% of the total volume of zFlowers.com’ Mother’s Day worldwide flower deliveries.

“It’s always really rewarding being involved with a company that is helping so many people around the world send their messages of love to their Mothers and other influential women in their lives. Our 10th Mother’s Day was our most successful to date. We also really enjoyed running the Mother’s Day contest and contacting the delighted winners” said Thomas Hegarty, Managing Director of zFlowers.com, speaking from over a decade of experience in the industry.

Statistically, people spend about 20% less on Mother’s Day than they do on Valentine’s Day.

Our 10th Mother’s Day was our most successful to date. We also really enjoyed running the Mother’s Day contest and contacting the delighted winners.

This year zFlowers.com ran a contest for people sending fresh flowers during the immediate Mother’s Day period (6 – 13 May, 2015) that marked the occasion as Mother’s Day when ordering. The winners, Danielle Tan and Mark Tapley, have been notified and each will receive one of two 32GB iPad Mini2s. Mr. Tan sent a lovely mixed bouquet to his Godmother in Australia. Mr. Tapley sent lilies to his Mum, also in Australia. zFlowers.com made sure they have plenty of room for their favourite games, images or other content by giving them the highest capacity version of the iPad Mini2.

zFlowers.com was founded in 2005 by Mr. Hegarty in Perth, Western Australia. However, the company relocated its headquarters to Hong Kong in 2007 to better serve the broader Asia Pacific region as well as global customers. It now services orders with around 4000 partner suppliers worldwide.
