Your delivery guy was very conscientious when he made a follow-up phone call after he dropped off flowers because no one was home – it was, however, a bit odd when he returned at 8:30 at night to request a signed receipt – I would consider a phone communication that the flowers are waiting outside our gate to be an adequate receipt.
